ABOUT US

We are a third generation family business, stretching back almost 100 years.

Originally an apple orchard and livestock farm next to the River Blythe, Caldicott's Nursery evolved over the years into greenhouses for growing tomatoes, cucumbers, chrysanthemums and bedding plants for Solihull and the Birmingham region.

While we carry a wide range of nursery plants, our largest specialties are hanging baskets and pick your own fruit.

We grow a wide range of hanging baskets for commercial and residential locations, with spring, summer, autumn, and winter hanging baskets.  

 

Autumn hanging baskets are a particular speciality as few people know how to make a hanging basket that will look great in the winter months.  

​

The fields outside are now taken up by rows of fruit available for picking in the summertime.
